Frequently Asked Questions

How do I combine two photos into one?+

Upload both photos, pick a layout — side by side, stacked, or a grid — and the combiner arranges them into a single image you can download as PNG, JPG, or WebP. It works the same for 2, 3, or 4 pictures.

Can I merge photos without losing quality?+

Yes. Each photo keeps its original resolution when combined, and PNG export is lossless. For JPG and WebP you can nudge the quality slider to trade a little sharpness for a smaller file — or leave it at max to keep full quality.

What's the difference between combining and AI fusion?+

This combiner places your photos next to each other in a layout — the originals stay intact. If instead you want AI to blend two images into one seamless scene, use Image Fusion.

Do I need an account to use this?+

No. This tool is completely free and works without registration.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?+

No. Everything runs locally in your browser using Canvas. Your images never leave your device.

What image formats can I export?+

PNG keeps transparency; JPG uses a white background; WebP offers smaller file sizes with good quality. For JPG and WebP, you can adjust the quality slider to balance file size and image quality.

How many images can I merge?+

You can merge 2, 3, or 4 images at once. Choose from multiple layout options: side-by-side (2-3 images), stacked vertically (2-3 images), grid layouts (2×2), or hero-style arrangements with one large image and smaller ones. Each layout supports different image counts for maximum flexibility.

Can I rotate an image before merging?+

Yes. Hover over any image (or just tap it on mobile) and use the rotate button in the top-left corner to turn it 90° at a time. It's perfect for fixing sideways phone photos before you combine them. Each image rotates independently, and the layout adjusts to the new orientation automatically.

What output sizes are available?+

By default, the output size is set to "Auto" which automatically calculates the canvas size based on your images and selected layout. You can also choose from fixed aspect ratios: 16:9 (landscape), 9:16 (portrait), or 1:1 (square) for consistent output dimensions.

How can I reduce the output file size?+

Choose WebP or JPG format instead of PNG, and use the quality slider to reduce file size. Lower quality values produce smaller files. The output is automatically capped at 8000 pixels to prevent excessively large files.
